It's time to dress up, put on your poker face, and get your GaGa-on for Bear Albany's MIRROR BALLS retro dance party! Bell bottoms, weird hats, crazy wigs, and anything that shows off your chest hair 70's style, is more than welcome.
The weekend kicks off on Friday Sept 17 at 9pm with our BEARAOKE meat and greet at the WaterWorks Pub (76 Central Ave). We'll have awesome drink specials, free pizza & wings, and NO COVER for all of our BEAR ALBANY buds. Make mama Donna Summer proud by grabbing the mic and singing us all to disco heaven!!!
Then ditch the paparazzi and come dressed for retro success on Saturday Sept 18 at 9pm for the MIRROR BALLS main event at ROCKS Bar (77 Central Ave). Expect to see hundreds of hot hairy dancing men showing off their best moves in butterfly collars and bedazzled cowboy hats. We'll have great drink specials, amazing dance music, and of course a midnight snack so you can "Ring My Bell" all night long. Let's show them what "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich" really looks like. And remember, what happens in Albany, stays in Albany.
Sunday morning you can satisfy that big appetite you built up, by heading back to ROCKS Bar for the Brunch Buffet at 11am. There you'll chow down with your new buddies on an ALL-YOU-CAN EAT delicious manly meal for the low price of $11.95. A perfect ending to a memorable weekend!
And for those of you who don't want to the party to end, stick around after brunch because ROCKS Bar finishes off the weekend with a fantastic Tea Dance on Sunday from 4-9pm. There'll be great music, fantastic drink specials, and a FREE BUFFET. It's the perfect way to end your weekend.
